The flat jack method is a diagnostic test used for buildings and masonry. This Semi Destructive Testing is usually performed directly on site to obtain specific and reliable information about the real static conditions of the structure, the loads acting on it (Estimation of the stress test - Single Jack Test) and the elastic modulus of the masonry (Double Jack Test).

The flat jack kit is composed of a single-delivery hydraulic pressurisation unit connected to a hose fitted with rapid couplings and a pressure gauge to display the pressure.

To perform the test, in addition to the hydraulic kit, you need the necessary equipment to obtain the measurement of displacements (meachanical deformometer or displacement transducer and pressure transducer connected to the DaTa500 acquisition system) and the power cutter, used to make cuts in the masonry.

Running the test with the double jack requires a second hose, set of unions and junction valves.

All the equipment is handy and easy to use.
